“This isn’t what I thought my life would be like”
Life doesn’t have to feel heavy, disconnected, or on autopilot. At the Center for Depth and Relationship, we help you uncover what’s blocking closeness so you can experience more ease, intimacy, and joy.
About
In times of great turbulence, when the world shifts faster than we can make meaning of it, the quality of our relationships becomes one of the wisest places we can invest ourselves. Not as a retreat from the chaos, but as an anchor within it. Honest, intimate connection with oneself and with those we love is not a luxury. It is, we believe, one of the most reliable sources of steadiness available to us.
The Center for Depth and Relationship grew from a shared dream among clinicians who hold this truth close. We were drawn together by a conviction that inner and outer chaos - as difficult and disorienting as it can be - carries within it the seeds of something real. Healing has an innate drive toward harmony. The psyche wants to find its way back to wholeness. Our work is simply to accompany that process with care, patience, and deep respect for each person's particular path.
Every therapist at CDR is a living expression of this commitment. We do not ask of our clients what we are unwilling to ask of ourselves. And we take genuine delight in walking alongside the people who find their way here, as they discover their own unique experience of harmony.

Somatic
Somatic therapy begins with the understanding that our bodies carry stories our minds may not yet know how to tell. It invites us to listen inward; to sensations, breath, posture, and movement, as gateways to emotion, memory, and meaning. In this work, the body is not a problem to be solved, but a wise companion in healing. Through gentle attention and presence, we create space for stuck patterns to soften, for nervous systems to recalibrate, and for a deeper sense of safety and aliveness to take root in the body.

Depth Psychology
Depth psychology honors the unseen layers of the psyche, such as dreams, memories, archetypes, and emotions that live beneath our everyday awareness. It invites us to turn toward what’s been buried or forgotten, not to fix it, but to listen. This work trusts that symptoms carry meaning, that the soul speaks in symbols, and that healing often begins in the places we’ve been taught to avoid. Depth therapy is less about quick solutions and more about compassionate inquiry, allowing what’s true, wise, and whole within you to come into the light

Couples Therapy
Couples therapy rooted in Dr. Stan Tatkin’s Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT) integrates the latest research in attachment theory, neurobiology, and arousal regulation. This model helps partners develop a deep understanding of each other’s histories and patterns, learn to attune to one another’s nervous systems through real-time interaction, and build practical skills for repair and communication. By addressing conflict directly, strengthening safety and stability, and fostering play and connection, PACT therapy supports couples in cultivating resilience, intimacy, and long-term relational health.
